Our Vision and Goal
Sarandipity Pet Care Services caters to many San Diego residents that have busier work schedules these days, necessary business trips, or other extended absences. Our vision to is to not only accommodate this population with our sitting and walking services, but to also provide services to their pets in the most natural, stress-free environment for your pet. Our goal is to customize our services to the needs of your furry family overall well-being and happiness. We want to know where your dog's favorite walking area is, what their favorite toys and treats are. Does your dog like to run? Does your cat just want to be pet and loved while you are away? We want to get to know the routine and nature of your animal so we can take care of them how you would want them to be taken care of. Many of our clients own more than one pet, some may also have birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. We don't discriminate and are happy to look after these critters as well!
Meet the Team!
Owner, Professional Pet Sitter and Dog Walker
I have been a resident of San Diego since 1999. I have my beautiful young daughter Kyla, and two cats named Ombre and Ralph (pictures are shown below on the left). I have a profound love for our animal companions. I've grown up around dogs, cats, birds, horses, and a variety of other animals. Because I have spent so much time around pets, in addition to being a pet owner myself, I've realized that our animal companions can be the most loved and cherished family members in our lives! I decided to put my passion to work— I left a very successful corporate position and started Sarandipity Pet Care Services in 2009. I am now living the life I envisioned for myself while satisfying the growing need of San Diegans to have a reliable service that ensures that their pets are loved and cared for when they are away.

Hello! I am Laura and I moved to sunny San Diego back in 2008. I grew up in Minnesota where I discovered my love for animals at an early age. I used to go to a camp as a child with my family which had a small farm filled with cats, dogs, horses, pigs, and goats. It was one of my favorite places to hang out! I have been a professional pet sitter with Sara and her crew since 2014, where I have taken care of a wide variety of animals, big and small. I am very passionate about the well being and happiness of our furry friends. I currently have a little black kitty of my own (named Wednesday), though some day I hope to get a dog. German Shepherds are one of my favorite breeds! I am bonded, insured, and city licensed.
Professional Pet Sitter and Dog Walker
I have had pets my entire life and cannot imagine my home without a cat or dog (or both). I graduated with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and worked with high risk youth for 35 years as a caseworker, and eventually in management. Upon retiring three years ago, I took a position with Sarandipity and have been providing care and comfort to pets while their owners are away on vacation or business. My current pack includes Kodi, my red tri Australian Shepherd; Mr. Martini, a Chihuahua mix rescue; and Ms. Tessie, a Scottish Fold rescue. Our home is full of fur but also full of love, wagging tails and purring. I am bonded, insured, and city licensed.

I am a 4th year student at UCSD studying Behavioral Neuroscience. Growing up, I always had many types of pets around including cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles. After college, I’m hoping to one day enter a career field working with animals in some way. My favorite past times include snuggling up to my cat, Callie or heading to Dog Beach in Del Mar. I’ve always loved animals of all shapes and sizes, but I do have a soft spot for Bengals and Tabbies! I am bonded, insured, and city licensed.
